Mönchsjoch hut
Switzerland's highest manned hut can be reached in 45 minutes from the Jungfraujoch on a high alpine trail. The trail leads through the high alpine glacier world in the middle of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The hut is manned from March to October. During this time, around 120 beds are available. Overnight stays must always be reserved. An unheated emergency room with 8 beds and no cooking facilities is available outside of the serviced periods. You can enjoy hot and cold meals in the restaurant.
