A small and cozy mountain restaurant

The Ischboden hut is a small and cozy mountain inn at 1400 m above sea level, situated on the road to the Grosse Scheidegg. The hut is about a 40-minute walk from the upper Grindelwald glacier. In summer, you can reach the hut on foot via the hiking trail, by bike or by post bus. The post bus stop is right in front of the house. In winter, the Ischboden hut can be reached on foot, with snowshoes or on a sledge. The hut is located opposite the Alpine Bird Park. We offer our day guests home-made and regional delicacies. There is no overnight accommodation available.
